Swimming, yoga on the water, group dipping, waterpolo-playing Gods, and cool surf camps. These are all up your alley, if sunbathing and paddle biking were not enough to exhaust you. The prestigious Kékszalag Sailing Regatta is also among the programmes of this July.

Conscious and positive thinking with music, delicious meals, workshops and innumerable sports programmes at the Everness Festival in Balatonakarattya between 2 and 6 July.  Among several interesting options, you can also test your skills doing SUP yoga. SUP is the abbreviation of Stand Up Paddle, of which you can read more here.  The gist of SUP yoga is that you have to perform yoga poses on a long and wide surfboard right on the water. Thus you'll be all the richer thanks to the spiritual impact of the water and yoga, and the balancing on the board will improve the precision of your movements and boost the intensity of your yoga practice. The SUP yoga classes with coach Annamária Uracs begin at 9 AM and 3 PM every day.

The Balaton Cross-swimming will be held between Révfülöp and Balatonboglár for the 32nd time on Staurday, July 5. The distance is 5.2 km, throughout which swimmers follow a line of boats placed every 20-30 metres. Participants can start swimming between 8 AM and 2 PM after a compulsory medical check. When finished, the swimmers and the audience can enjoy concerts and cultural programmes on the Platán beach of Balatonboglár.

The usual hype and even greater excitement awaits the participants and viewers of the annual Kékszalag Sailing Regatta, held for the 46th time this year between 10 and 12 July. The international race starts from Balatonfüred and returns to the same place. Make a bet and enjoy the view of the colourful sails and the entertainment offered by the VinCe Balaton festival.

You can also support your favourite team at the finals of the Hungarian Beach Waterpolo Championships in the port of Balatonföldvár on 12 July. The best teams of the 5-round championship will battle for your heart between 9 AM and 4 PM. You can also pop over from Balaton Sound, it is only 15 minutes by bike!

If you'd rather spent the day on the water, then head to Fonyód for the Nagyon Balaton Nagy Csobbanás! You and your family can bathe in the Lake, dance at concerts by the likes of Mary Popkids and the Alma band, and participate in a number of games on land and water, try a jumping castle equipped with a gigantic slide, or watch jugglers. Similar entertainment with a different line-up (including Rutkai Bori és a Hébe-Hóba Banda, and Odett) awaits you at the second stop of the event series, in Siófok, on 19 July.

If the Balaton Cross-swimming seems to tough, or you'd like another round of long-distance swimming, head to Balatonfüred on 20 July, swim 3.5 km and land in Tihany!  The Bay Cross-swimming starts at 10 AM, there are separate categories for individuals and groups and bus transports back to the starting point.
