After Monday’s warm-up, all the stages are now blasting electronic beats at full steam in Balatonvilágos. DJ-producer Wondawulf, who will hit the stage at 4 pm on Tuesday, was game for a quick interview, so we asked him about what he is most looking forward to at the festival. He also told us that an open frame of mind is enough to appreciate electronic music.

WLB: What was the first B.my.Lake like last year?

Wondawulf: One of the best things about this festival is that it takes place right on the Balaton shore, in a very pleasant setting. Playing here was a great experience, so I’m very much looking forward to it this year as well!

WLB: How is it different from Balaton Sound – what do you like about it from a professional perspective and in terms of the vibe and the line-up?

Wondawulf: The festival exudes a casual, familiar vibe, you simply feel that everyone who is there goes for a reason. Everyone is nice, curious and open-minded. Partying on the shore under the huge trees is always a lot of fun.

WLB: What do you think is the best way to listen to electronic music? What should inexperienced listeners look out for?

Wondawulf: B my Lake is primarily for the fans of techno and house music, but the representatives of bass music can also be found here. I think it is important for the listener to be open, curious and unprejudiced. If you can tune in on a DJ and give yourself over to the music, you can have an awesome, one-of-a-kind experience.
