It cannot be denied that the Strand Festival schedule was full of smashing concerts this year. Dub FX high-fived and took photos with fans, Bori Péterfy and the lead singer of Papa Roach climbed up on the fence several times, and the gig of John Newman gave rise to the new concept of mud dancing.

John Newman was heralded as the biggest hit of the evening

But like a true Brit he brought a mighty rainstorm down on Zamárdi

Wallowing in the mud did not put off dancing festivalgoers

We have already shown you what Papa Roach did to the audience

Dub FX said he was tired

Yet after his gig he took the time to come out and snap photos with his fans

The Parov Stelar Band…

…Knife Party…

…and Wilkinson all hit it out of the park

Not to mention the Hungarian bands

Punnany completely filled the mosh pit in front of the Main Stage

Tankcsapda came to celebrate 25 years on stage with a second concert

Bori Péterfy gave an energetic performance on the OTP Bank Stage

She was even up for bodysurfing
