Up to now, the event planners behind Balaton Sound had been reluctant to disclose names: now, in the middle of January they announced 15 acts at once to promote the largest festival of Lake Balaton. Here come Charli XCX, Nicky Romero,and the duo behind the soundtrack of the 2014 aftermovie.

Several hits by Charli XCX and DVBBS's anthem We were young have been played to bits by radio stations. The latter was also featured in the aftermovie of Balaton Sound 2014.
Sound will keep up the good job with regards to hip hop. After Snoop Dogg, the Wu-Tang Clan (shouting Budapest even in Zamárdi) and Wiz Khalifa, this year will see a visit from Joey Badass, who is really busy these months: he turns 20 tomorrow, his new album is about to be released - and he broke the nose of a security guard at a festival on NYE.
