The trailer of the music movie Balaton Method has arrived with everything one associates to Lake Balaton, from paddle bikes, through clinking glasses at a train station to late night dipping. There is less than a month left until the première.
There is less than a month left until the première of the movie, Balaton Method. An excerpt was released in January, showing the members of Punnany Massif playing at the mess hall of kids' holiday resort in Csopak. Now, the official trailer is here, showing much more than that.
We have already discussed Balaton Method: Director Bálint Szimler and cinematographer Marcell Rév wanted to adapt the world of the popular music shorts, Kodály Method to a feature music film revolving around Lake Balaton. Balaton Method is not only about summer fun: the shooting started in June 2014 and ended in January 2015.
The excerpt featuring Punnany Massif has had nearly 100 000 views. The band will play live at the movie première at the Akvárium Klub in Budapest on 6 March. The première will be followed by a tour of the major cities countrywide, and there are plans for screenings in the frame of the Nagyon Balaton event series in open-air cinemas and at festivals throughout the summer.
