Lots of people have told the camera about their love for Lake Balaton, but improvising a song with an instrument about one's funniest Balaton memories was unprecedented until now. The crew of Balaton Method sat Hungarian musicians appearing in the movie - e.g. Tibi Kiss (Quimby), Livius Varga (Quimby, A kutya vacsorája), Szabi Papp (Supernem), Saiid (Akkezdet Phiai), and the frontmen of Punnany Massif - down in front of the camera and asked them to tell about their favourite Balaton adventure in half a minute and set it to music at once. Teenage tumbles, Norwegian girls, a road trip with naked ladies in the Káli Basin (befit a Jancsó movie) on ukulele and accordion and in the style of literary radio programmes. The music film Balaton Method, which has been proudly sponsored by WeLoveBalaton as well,will premier at the Akvárium Klub in Budapest on 6 March. From the end of March, the movie will be available at several theatres, and it goes on a countryside tour to major Hungarian towns in the spring - accompanied by the featured bands.
