The organizers of the Picnic have not turned against their original intents and started mixing heavy metal with disco: the line-up this year includes the internationally acclaimed productions Jazzanova, Soul Sourge, Infinity, and sax legend Candy Dulfer who'll probably make many-a guest dance.
The main stage's Hungarian acts are also quite exciting. The 3-piece Amoeba is now a returning guest of Lake Balaton: they contributed a song to the Balaton Method film in cooperation with the rappers of Akkezdet Phiai. Paloznak will also be lucky enough to get some of the magic of Fábián Juli&Zoohacker this weekend.
The stage in the yard of the Tájház (Folk House) will be filled with music by acts, like the Marosi Zoltán Band, harmonica virtuosos Mátyás Pribojszki and his band, and Little G. Weevil. Day 2 will begin with Myra Monoka's live act, followed by Gabi Gubás and band, and finally the Barabás Lőrinc Quartet.
One of the most intimate festivals of this summer will entertain with 15 concerts on 3 stages. The new venue, Jazz Terrace, will be home to the fantastic students of the Felsőörs-based Snétberger Music Talent Center.
The organizers also made promises for the return of last year's light painting show, so we expect the church of Paloznak to look odd like this again:
