Gradually gaining tradition status, the fall edition of Nyitott Balaton entices visitors to the Balaton shore with a host of exciting events. More than 2,500 catering and accommodation establishments have joined the initiative with the aim of making sure that the Balaton season ends with an unforgettable fall.
This fall will be all about visiting wine cellars instead of beaches around Balaton. The best cellars of the region will open their gates, and a transfer service will be available to guarantee that all guests have the chance to sample the products of all the participating wineries. Balaton eateries will put together fall menus, while hotels and guesthouses will offer a 20% discount to guests booking more than 2 nights. The event selection, just like fall leaves, will be super colorful: guided thematic hikes, water tours, exciting children’s activities and more.
