The exhibition of graphic artist Imre Szilágyi is open until 29 November.

Imre Szilágyi Imre has been part of various forums of Hungarian contemporary art for almost 50 years now. On one hand, he has thousands of ties to the Hajdúság and the Hortobágy, the countryside he resides in, but he is also the bearer of great traditions, like the 20th century Hungarian graphic art and the noble European traditions of etching, which can be traced back to Rembrand and Dürer. His artworks are populated by eerie creatures, telling of human stories and traits. He approaches his heroes with mild irony, often creating a moving effect.Humour is a strong side of his oeuvre.
