The Thury Castle now exhibits 37 paintings by Marc Chagall, one of the most exciting artists of the last century. Though he cannot be compartmentalised as avant-garde, he had a massive influence on both surrealists and expressionists.  The exhibition is open until 6 September during visiting hours.
