The most romantic weekend is held in Fonyód in the frame of Nyitott Balaton. Couples are invited to stroll down the promenade, where street musicians will set the romantic mood.
The couples can also visit the Kripta Villa, where Ödön Abrudbányai-Rédinger and his love, Magdus rest. Ödön was so in love with his fiancé, who died before their wedding that he built a mausoleum for her in 1941. He even had their marriage bed and their figures on it carved from marble.
