Drummer Márton Juhász founded the 'Playground' in 2011 with the aim of creating a friendly place where musicians and listeners can explore the most pulsating types of music from around the world. Together with his fellow musicians (renown Hungarian session musicians), they bring the sounds of African cities to Europe and reinterpret them.

Their repertoire is based on over 2000 recordings and encompasses a gigantic area from the Democratic Republic of Congo through Nigéria, Benin, and Senegal to Mali and further.
