The European Geoparks Week 2015 is aimed at raising public awareness of geoconservation and promotion of the geological heritage in around 60 geoparks of the continent.
The geo-tours, outdoor geography lessons and other programmes of the Bakony-Balaton Geopark provide new ways of recreation and education and carry the message that the sustainable use of our geological heritage might give economical advantage.
