Hello Wood is one of the leading international architecture and design camps in Europe: last year more than 100 architects from 12 countries participated in the summer workshop. This year, for the fifth time Hello Wood has the opportunity to create 12 wood installations in its summer workshop in Csorompuszta, a charming village of Balaton Uplands, Hungary.
This is the place to crown your portfolio, the place where you create artwork taht will not end up in your drawer, but at noted exhibitions and the media. This is an opportunity to cooperate with new people - and they are the right people, that's guaranteed. Hello Wood is an experiement to bring together the most talented persons. This year, for the fifth time Hello Wood has the opportunity to create 12 wood installations in its summer workshop again, in the frame of a longer and more colourful festival of increased quality.
In 2014, just like in the previous year, the program of Hello Wood will not be categorized according to professions or fields of expertise, but organized around a central theme: BALANCE. Our aim is to create pieces that can capture the delicate moment of equilibrium by reacting on uncertainty, skepticism or disproportion; notions that can easily be translated to the language of architecture. Accordingly, Hello Wood is looking for workshop leaders and students from the worlds of architecture, landscape architecture, design and other arts fields.
