Over 150 competitors will participate in the 19th Hungarian Wine Road (Magyar Borok Útja) Rallye between 29th August and 31st August.
The actors, politicians, journalists, businessmen and celebrities will start their journey from Budapest. The route is around 6-700 km, the major stops are Kecskemét, Szekszárd, Villány and the Zsámbéki-medence (on the road back). The competitors will visit more than 12 wineries and pálinka cellars, where they can taste local specialities and complete games and funny tests of skill.
The event is aimed at promoting the historical wine regions, the wine culture and the rural tourism of Hungary.
