Jean Cocteau's drama takes you to Paris to witness a special phone call. It is a story of love and its passing: you see and hear a Woman talking to an (inaudible) Man on the phone. She cries, laughs, whispers and shouts, argues calmly and throws down the receiver trying to delay the inevitable end of the relationship.
