The 24th Jókai Days will be held under the sign of the 190th anniversary of the birth of novelist Mór Jókai. The programmes include a literature nigth and matine, book premier, book fair and exhibition. Another highlight not to be missed is the "Jókai" bean soup cooking competition in the Koloska-völgy.
The Jókai Days is an event series in memory of a prominent personality of Hungarian literature, Mór Jókai. He had multiple ties to Balatonfüred; he wrote his acclaimed novel, The Man With the Golden Touch in his local villa, now a museum.
