Katie Melua is one of the most succesful artists of Great Britain, having sold over 11 millions of records and a million of concert tickets. The singer who has received 56 platinum albums so far performs in Hungary for the first time ever.

When Georgia-born Katie signed with Mike Batt's Dramatico Records in 2002, noone even imagined that she would become the world's best-selling female artist in the year of the release of her third album, Pictures. Her first two records, Call Off The Search and Piece By Piece both reached the top of international charts.
Critics described her fourth album, The House (2010) as spell-binding, exciting and dramatic. This album also made it to the top of European lists. In 2011, her band accompanied by a string quartet recorded the exclusive release of Secret Symphony, and a digital collection titled The Tracks That Got Away. The latter was a collection of side B songs and live favourites.
Ten years after the release of her debut album, Call Off The Search, Katie released her 6th studio album, Ketevan, on her brithday in September 2013. The first single from Ketevan (Katie's Georgian name), I Will Be There, debuted at the crowning gala in Buckingham Palace on 11 June. The song written by Katie's long-time partner, Mike Batt, pays a wonderful tribute to a caring mother. The song also marked Katie's return to song-writing and cooperation with Mike Batt. Katie's unique, impressive voice tells stories about love and life with the maturity and experience of her decade-long career,
