Between 20-26 June, head to the Tihany sliproad to admire lavenders and take some home as well.
In the middle of summer, you can pick lavenders from 10 AM to 8 PM for three weeks. Lavenders are great insect repellents, relieve the effects of mosquito bites, help you sleep and can be used for freshening up your clothes.
Harvest bags (28 cm X 21 cm x 11 cm) are available on spot for 2000 HUF. The flowers you pick can also be used as decorations or as ingredients for various meals.
