The band Magashegyi Underground was founded in May 2007. Their first song,  Szeplős Váll, which was co-written with Manu Chao, helped the band become one of the best breakthrough acts of 2007.


Ezer Erdő, the debut album of the band was released in 2010, however it was preceded by two, free LPs Szívtakarítás (4 songs) and Ezer város (8 songs). The band is currently working on their new record, of which they have already released several hits (e.g. Rázz fel and Álmatlanság) to the greatest satisfaction of radios and fans both.
Magashegyi Underground is a sought after act at festivals and clubs, and they gave 3 sold out concerts at the Palace of Arts Budapest, accompanied by a symphony orchestra, a precussion section and a choir.
