This year Balaton is opening its gates again on May 1: the aim of the Nyitott Balaton event series is to show that Lake Balaton is not only an attractive destination in the summertime, but also in spring. The upcoming festival awaits visitors with a diverse program ranging from gastro events, hiking and biking to a variety of beach activities.
The event series is organized with the participation of 30 townships and 19 tourism destination management from all over the Balaton region, so the entire like will be buzzing with life come May.
