In this musical jam series, the audience becomes a witness of the birth of pure, quality music, in which various musical genres (funk, soul, disco, hip-hop, drum'n'bass, nu jazz, rock’n’roll etc.) are randomly blended into one.
The frontmen of the club series that began in 2009 are Jávor Delov (drums, Turbo) and DJ Q-Cee (Vinyl Warriorz). Week by week, they are accompanied by an ever-changing company of musicians at A38 and the clubs and festivals around Hungary.
Among others, the regulars of Random Trip include members of Brains, Akkezdet Phiai, Carbonfools, Supernem, Hősök, Fábián Juli & Zoohacker, Irie Maffia and Quimby.
Their list of international guests included Peter Legath (Count Basic), Brandon Fields (Tower of Power, George Benson, Dave Weckl Band, etc.), Schradinova /NL/, Timo Lassy (Five Corners Quintet), BigJohn Whitfield /USA-A/, iLLspokinn /USA/, and Dub FX /AUS/ as well.
