Gyenesdiás's spring welcome event, widely known as Rügyfakadás (Bud burst) will be held on April 16-17. The program includes family fun, an open-fire cooking contest, an introduction to the kitchen of old times, excursions, games, equestrian and archery shows, a rolling pin bending and a mill stone throwing contest, and music. Fun for the entire family!
The event will also feature cultural clubs, scouts, environmentalist organisations, rangers, a folk and artisan fair, firefighter/civil protection shows, the competitions of local sports clubs, health-related events, and a playhouse.
