In harmony with tradition, the Balaton wine region's major spring event, the Sándor-napi Bormustra (Alexander's Day wine show) is  held again on 18 March in Tapolca.

The first Bormusta  was held by the Badacsonyi Borbarát Asztaltársaság (Badacsony Wine Friends) in 2003 and the event has grown to  be a popular forum of the trade since. This year, the wine flight consists of 30-40 local rosé wines.

The event at Tapolca's Tamási Áron City Culture Centre will be opened by mayor Zoltán Dobó. The keynote speech will be delivered by dr. János Májer , director of the NAIK Viticulture and Oenology Research Insititute. The wine tasting will finish with a professional summary and a dinner.
