In case of clear weather, the Pannon Observatory invites everyone to observe the partial solar eclipse together from 9:30 on 20 Marc! The solar eclipse will last from 9:37 to 11:57, with a 58% totality at 10:46. Participants can look into special telescopes and examine the surface objects of the Sun. This is a unique event, since the next partial solar eclipse visible from Hungary will be on 10 June 2021.
Warning! Never look directly into the Sun without protection - with a free eye, a telescope, or through a camera, since there is a chance of blinding.
