Enjoy the show of Szőke Nikoletta B Verzió Projekt on 20 July at the Veszprémfest, the event accompanied by the Rosé, Riesling and Jazz Days.

The music of the septet mixes 60s-70s funk, especially Motown-sound, with elements of contemporary R’n’B, hip-hop and jazz. Contrary to the lyrical and melodic tunes of the Nikoletta Szőke Quartet, in the music of the “B” Project  brings pulsing and strongly rhythmic elements to the forefront.
A few of Nikoletta's permanent accompanying musicians are contributing to the project as well, but this time Róbert Szakcsi Lakatos switches to the electric piano from the acoustic and József Barcza Horváth puts his double bass aside to play on bass guitar. One of the most sought-after young musicians, Márton Juhász is playing on drums, while guitarist Dávid Lamm also showcases his voal talents in addition to his excellent instrumental skills. A wind section consisting of saxophonist Gábor Bolla and noteworthy trumpeter Balázs Pecze enrich the sound of the project even more.
Besides some standards the repertoire is built mostly on the members' original compositions, with Hungarian lyrics written by Nikoletta.
