The Geological Treasure of the Year in the Bakony–Balaton Geopark title was founded in 2013 to draw attention to one outstanding geological treasure accompanied by an exemplary cooperation in geological preservation, presentation or environmental education.
This year, the title was awarded to Felsőörs . The presentation and the tour focus on the scientific peculiarities of the Forrás Hill in Felsőörs. The tour touches the Forrás Hill geological study trail, the panoramic Miske Cliff, and the Malom Valley study trail as well.
