One of the longest ultrarunning races of Hungary, which draws an increasing number of Hungarian and international participants from year to year. The start and finish of the 212-km distance is in Balatonaliga. Start at 6 AM on 30 May 2015.

The story of Ultrabalaton has begun in 2007, with the goal of creating a 200+ km ultrarunning race. The original, 200 participants were later joined by an increasing number of teams and individuals. Throughout the years, Ultrabalaton has grown to be one of the best known and most popular running and sports events of Hungary.
Distance and route
The Ultrabalaton distance has always been 212 km-long. For 6 years, the route started from the shore of Belső-tó, turning in the direction of the Balaton Uplands after Aszófő. Since 2013, the participants start from Balatonaliga.
Time limits and refreshments
Individuals and relay teams have 32 hours at their disposal to compete the 212 km - the Ultrabalaton is a non-stop event. There are 30 relay points and over 40 refreshment points on the route.
