The Ziege Festival returns to Tihany between November 13 and 15, 2015 to celebrate the ziege, one of the Balaton town's most important local attractions.
The two-day Ziege Festival evokes old fishing traditions and showcases the traditional preparation methods of ziege dishes. In addition to the gastronomical events, guests will be entertained with games, music, dance and a fair. Smoked and oven-baked ziege and other Balaton fish will be served with oven-baked bread and excellent wines and pálinkas on Tihany's Visszhang Hill.
