In winter, when the SkiArena is in full swing, it’s impossible to move even an inch among all the skis, however, in summer we can casually pass time at Ámos-hegyi Barbecue next to Road 82, at the foot of the ski resort of Ámos-völgy (Ámos Valley). The restaurant was transformed for summer: bare wood dominates the atmosphere that reminds of a chalet, and the lovely fairy lights make the place even cozier. The filling smoked meats (pork, beef, lamb, game, and poultry) taste great after hiking or a summer adventure at Bringaréna; these are served in different variations from noon on weekends, with spicy steak potatoes, coleslaw, and sauce on the side. We can go home feeling full from the products of local producers, like cheeses from Ördögárok, beers from the Abbey of Zirc, and lavender cookies from Bakonybél.
