Balaton Theater opened its gates in 2002, and it welcomes everything from wine-conferences and operas, to contemporary photo exhibitions – these gates are open for anything that the residents of the city, which was called “the Hungarian Weimar” by Hungarian poet Dániel Berzsenyi, might be interested in.
With more than 120 nights of galas, festivals, shows, exhibitions, concerts, and many more behind its back, Balaton Theater on the main square of the city is a great weapon for Keszthely in the fight for the “Capital of Balaton” title.
