Covering about 2.5 hectares, Balatonakarattya’s most spacious beach is a 15-20-minute walk from the nearest bus and railway stations. If you prefer to spend your free time more actively, you won’t be disappointed here: there are a couple of sandy sports fields with bleachers, perfect for volleyball, football tennis and beach football. There’s a pedal boat and sports equipment rental, and two playgrounds have been created for the smallest beachgoers. First aid is provided by the on-site lifeguards, and you can grab a bite and a drink at any of the food stands, restaurants and stores.
