This beach is located in the immediate vicinity of Balatonfenyves-alsó railway station, between the Water Sports Center and Balatonmáriafürdő-alsó Hullám Street Public Beach.
Covering an area of more than half a hectare, the beach has a kept lawn and an alley of trees on either side, but shady spots are unfortunately not particularly abundant. The safe deposit lockers by the entrance can be rented for a daily fee. To the left, you can find a jungle gym, a couple of swings, and a sandbox; to the right, there are several food stands. The bathrooms are nice and clean. The park beyond the reed beds has a couple of sports fields.
Due to the unpleasant shifts in the muddy section of the shore, visitors can only use the longer pier leading into the water. In the summer season, a beach guard and a team of lifeguards are available between 10am and 6pm.
Tip: The beach can be a fun stop on a bicycle trip around the lake, as the Balaton Bike Ring runs by the entrance area. Take a look around here!
