With the statue of István Bujtor standing guard at the gate, this 70-berth marina run by Balaton Shipping Co. is located in the prettiest area of Balatonfüred, directly by Tagore Promenade. The sculpture of the iconic actor is not the only one worth checking out here. János Pásztor’s Halász és Révész (Fisherman and Ferryman) watch over the beach with an equal amount of vigilance. If you believe what the legend says, touch the boots of the two figures, and you’ll definitely return to the elegant little town.
