To reach the lookout tower on Pető-hegy that was rebuilt in 2002, follow the red footpath signs from the Festetics Lookout Tower, the Vonyarcvashegy train station or Büdöskútpuszta, located in the heart of the hills.
In clear weather, you can almost see half of the Transdanubia region from the Keszthely Bay through the Mecsek even to the Alpokalja. What is more, you can sometimes even catch a glimpse of the broadcasting tower in Pécs.
Tip: At the foot of the tower, there is a relaxation area for hikers.
