Located toward the top of Örsi-hegy, the vineyard of Csendes Dűlő Estate, which currently covers an area of 3.5 hectares, has been managed by the owners for almost half a century. A couple of years ago, the youngest member of the family, twenty-something graphic designer Dóra took over the management of the old cellar amid the vines.
The setting for her dreams was already there: the wine terrace offering sweeping vistas over the surrounding Badacsony wine region, and the Welschriesling, Pinot gris, Hárslevelű, and Kéknyelű made from grapes grown on basalt-rich soil.
Guests can buy the wines of Csendes Dűlő at the spacious terrace where they can also enjoy tastings and cold plates.
Tip: The new terrace of Csendes Dűlő will house various events in summer including concerts and dinners.
