Csopak’s boat stop is located on the north shore of Balaton’s eastern basin. The single-pier boat station, which was opened in 1970, faces in a southeasterly direction. While the marina is open to the public, it can actually only accommodate one big ship, though there are 15 bouy-lined guest berths west of the pier. Due to the fact that the boat stop has heaps of rocks and pebbles piled up on its side, perpendicularly parking boats may not be able to pull all the way up to the edge, so miniature piers have been installed to help sailors step onto the shore.

Those coming to Csopak by boat should remember that some of the Hungarian sea’s unique features are located nearby: within a few hundred meters you can find the biggest slide of Balaton, one of the Balaton ambassadors of Budapest street food, the yach club of Kerekedi Bay, not to mention the outdoor cinema.
