Fontana Cinema is located in the heart of Hévíz, halfway down Rákóczi Road, colloquially known as the local pedestrian street. Renovated in 2005, the movie theatre has 104 seats, an enlarged screen and cutting-edge sound technology. During the renovation, an exhibition space was also created where visitors can view for free a collection of items showcasing the spa town’s history. The screening halls downstairs all have step-free access, so even physical disabled guests can enjoy the motion picture experience. Fontana holds three screenings every day, and as of 2015 tickets are available online too.
