Located close to Vitorlás utca, Fonyód’s Municipal Beach is one of the biggest among the seven public beaches in town. You can get to the beach from the direction of the railway station or through a small gate at the other end of the premises.
The beach has everything beachgoers could need from a playground, food stands and changing cabins to a huge, well-maintained grassy area. The splendid view is a unique feature of the beach: the silhouette of Badacsony is a wonderful addition to the panorama.
