The exclusive rule of the legendary Márton Cukrászda is officially over in Balatonlelle. Balázs Geleta, who used to work for the rival, opened Geleta Cukrászda next to main road 7 (leave the roundabout in the direction of Balatonboglár to find it). When we were there, we chanced upon an older customer who sang odes about the the delicious cakes to the owner. Parking spaces are available by the main road, in front of the confectionery and in the yard, but free spots are hard to find on weekends. The classic super sweet cakes are definitely worth a try because here you don't have to expect a sugar overload in your mouth and a stomachache afterwards.
