Gombás Kúria is one of the most beautiful and best preserved mansions of the Balaton Uplands and, in particular, Balatonfüred. This stunning building (also a press house) is located on the road connecting Arács and Balatonfüred, at the foot of Tamás Hill. At the time of its construction in the 1780s it was the area's biggest private building. The last major renovation was carried out in 2007, for which the owners won the Podmaniczky Award. With space to sleep ca. 30 people, the mansion has 11 twin and double rooms, 2 smaller apartments with kitchenette, and 100-square metre luxury apartments are also available if that is what you are after.
