Hotel Ezüstpart is probably the most famous memento of the era before the change of regime in Hungary. The iconic building on the row of hotels in Siófok is undoubtedly keeping things from a bygone era in an authentic way: signs of retro wink at us from all corners, including the red faux leather armchairs and the hair salon. All of this is concentrated in a complex of 340 rooms with beautiful surroundings, so the nostalgia is replaced by the spirit of the times.
Looking like a giant board of tic-tac-toe from afar, the hotel, more precisely a few of its unique balconies were used as tiny stages by the members of the band Napra in the hit Hungarian movie Balaton Method, in which they performed their song titled Tulipános (Tulip Song) with accordion, saxophone, and drums accompaniments.
