Kálmán Kalla, the former chef of Gundel Restaurant, and his wife, Böbe, operate their guesthouse in a quiet village of the Balaton Uplands called Sümegprága.
A maximum of eight people can stay here and they will be lucky enough to have Kalla’s at least seven-course gourmet dinner finished with Kalla-cheeses.
Those who aren’t all about food can enjoy the sauna, play pool, sunbathe, or go for a hike. Guests must make a reservation in advance for a minimum of four people. The hostess loves cats so those who have allergies should be aware of this.
