Kikötő on Jókai Street is a stone’s throw away from the center of Mindszentkálla, which basically means the church and Káli-Kapolcs. The owners bought an old barn, and converted it into a guesthouse without changing the original structure; that’s why the “rooms” are separated only by sizeable curtains. If privacy is important to you, it’s probably best to rent the three double rooms for the same group. The owners are happy to whip up breakfast or brunch from local ingredients to feed their famished guests. A room costs 4,000 forints/person/night, while a hearty breakfast plate with eggs, herbs, cheese, homemade sausage as well as fruit and vegetables picked fresh from the garden is around 1,500 forints.
