Everyone in the Konyári-family is an acclaimed winemaker, but their family winery is very hard to find. This doesn't mean that visitors are forbidden here, but Konyári Wine Cellar is hidden in one of the valleys of Kishegy.
It's worth finding though, because the modern building is situated in a secret garden; this Mediterranean park, with a single bench in its middle, is like a private garden of Eden.
The wine tasting is only the first part; you can take a tour of the cellar as well. If you would like to eat and sleep here there is an apartment which kind of looks like an Italian villa, very close to the cellar. Also managed by the Konyáris, Majthényi Press House has exquisite traditional meals and a nice view.
