The cave named after the internationally acclaimed explorer, Lajos Lóczy Sr. is a 5-minute-drive or a 30-minute-walk away from the centre of Balatonfüred. A visit here could be a nice addition to your Balaton-related itinerary.
You can reach the highly protected cave by following the green blaze from the local train station or the Jókai Lookout Tower. There is electric lighting inside, and you can join the guided tours without wearing any special clothing. The tour takes about 30 minutes and the guide's fee is included in the entry fee.
