A mere ten minutes on foot from Veszprém Zoo, Gulya-domb Forest Park has no llamas or elephants, but it’s definitely worth spending a few hours relaxing or exercising in this lovely natural environment. If you’re up for a challenge, you can explore the 2,400-meter or the 4,800-meter study trail nearby, but if you feel like staying in one place, you can hang out on the sports field of the playground. The wooden lookout tower at the top of the hill offers sweeping vistas of the entire forest park as well as the hills of the Bakony region.
