Napsugár Beach, also known as the “dock beach”, is the largest and best known beach of Tihanyi-félsziget (Tihany Peninsula). The almost half-a-hectare large coastal area has well-kept lawn and sandy patches as well, a playground, plus a volleyball and basketball court in the water.

The only downside that sunbathers should take into account is that the sun goes down sooner here than usual due to the hill to the west. Napsugár is easily accessible from Tihany on foot by following the trail from the end of Pisky Promenade, while those who arrive by car will find a free parking lot in front of the boat stop.

Tip: entry is free of charge for children under six, and for people over 80; we can also take our bikes to the beach for free. Take a look around the beach here.
