If you turn in the direction of Szent György-hegy at the Tapolca intersection of Road 71, you’ll find Nyári Cellar tucked away on the path running between Tarányi Cellar and Lengyel Chapel.
The cellar and the vineyard were purchased by the Nyári family in 1978, and today the estate is run by the second generation. Renovated in its original style, the cellar building has a tasting hall suitable to accommodate almost a hundred people. In nice weather you can sit down on the terrace, under the wisteria bushes, and try the Welschriesling or the Cserszegi Fűszeres of the house.
Tip: You can’t stay here overnight, but dropping by for an afternoon of wine sampling is highly recommended.
