Bálint Szabó lives in the one-street Óbudavár with his family, where he started to herd goats after quitting his teaching career.
Since the tribe grew rapidly, they launched the cheese business with a solid customer base. They have goat cream cheese, matured semi-hard cow’s milk cheese, gomolya cheese, soft cheese with a white rind, mature – optionally spicy – semi-hard goat cheese and long-matured cheese. Their yogurt is so thick that the spoon stands up in it.
The products are available for purchase at the Csalán Market in Veszprém on Fridays, the Tihanyi PIAC Marketplace on Saturdays, and at a few restaurants in Budapest, such as Kőleves or Castro.
